Planning Services
Pre-planning Applications:
We collate and submit the information required to the local planning authority, arrange a site visit with them to discuss what will be needed for the full planning application and any potential issues and discuss all findings and the way forward with our client before moving to the full application.
Planning Applications
We obtain quotes from suitable sub-contractors to produce all reports necessary (for example, tree surveys, ecological assessments), which we collate and send to our clients to approval prior to instruction. When all the reports are completed, we will submit the full planning application to the relevant planning authority and work with them on your behalf to a decision.
Grid Applications:
We complete all relevant submission documents, alongside completing technical design documents, submission and monitoring of your application and feedback to you any issues that the DNO may have. Once we receive your connection offer, we send this to you for signature and inform you of any payment needed to the grid.
Project Tender:
We can manage the whole tender process for you for your project, which typically outlines your requirements to the contractors invited to tender. Once all information is received by from the contractors within the set timeframes, they are evaluated on technical competency, quality and price and marked on a sliding scale out of ten. All results and comments are feedback to the client alongside our recommendations for review.
Project Management:
Offered as an add on to our other services, we are able to fully manage your project once it moves to the install phase. This includes site visits, regular communication between the installers and our client, managing and resolving any issues that arise and seeing the project through to completion.

DNO Surgery meetings
Engage with the DNO (Distribution Network Operator) for initial outline of restrictions impacting the local electricity grid.
Connection appraisal
Review client meters and electrical infrastructure – identify improvements to maximise the use of locally generated renewable energy.
Grid Connection Applications
Co-ordinate the connection of proposed renewable energy generators and provide a suitable connection agreement to facilitate the estate requirements.
Point of connection upgrade
Co-ordinate enabling upgrade works with the DNO.
